We new generation are now moving toward the facebook social network site. We update via wall, comment, likes, upload links,pics,video’s etc.apart form these basic feature we also use the chat feature of facebook, but most of us doesn’t know when our friend is writing on the chat panel or when he/she is still waiting for your response (idle).

Okay, Like in the Gtalk App or the Gmail web chat, when the chat friend type a character “xyz is typing” or “xyz has entered a text”
But in facebook, I found a little bit difference in the chat panel, when we actually using the chat feature , there is now written notification provide by the facebook but the image at the bottom right side is changed.

Go Online (in the chat ).
Click on the chat panel at the (right bottom) or you can simply click the online person.
Now, you can see the ” Clear Chat History ” at the top of the chat panel ( current chat panel ).
Click on the “Clear chat history” and there you go. It will delete all the recent chat history of your friend.

The script:
It begins with conversations between Mark and Erica (his girlfriend) which later on ends up with their break up. Mark heads back to his Harvard dorm and just like any computer nerd starts blogging about the breakup. Meanwhile he comes up with an idea for a website “Hot or not” which allows Harvard guys to compare Harvard women against each other. His best friend Eduardo pops in to help him and they get the site live in less than an hour taking down to entire Harvard computer network. It gets Popular enough to piss off the faculty members and the Harvard women. Though, it introduces him to Cameron and Tyler (extremely rich and handsome brothers) who want Mark to code their new “myspace” kind of a social networking site. He expands the idea and calls it “The Facebook”. In few weeks site shows up not only in various universities but also at various schools. But by the end of the year Mark and Eduardo head in different directions and the site comes to halt.
Sean Parker (a bankrupt egoistic rock star) impressed by Mark’s work arranges a meeting and suggests him to drop the “the” and just call the site “Facebook”. Working for free, Parker takes Facebook international within three weeks. Mark hires Sean without telling Eduardo, giving him a 5% stake in the company. When Eduardo finds out about it he freezes the company bank account. Later on Mark and Parker trick Eduardo and thereby laying a base to fire him. 3 years later Mark gets sued by Eduardo, Tyler and Cameron for 16 billion dollars. What happens next??? Go for movie and Figure out ..

Why People Don’t Like Facebook – ACSI 2010

According to the recent survey by the America Customer Survey Index (ACSI). Facebook was given 64 points out of 100. This was quite lower in comparison to the last year score. Google had scored 80/100 that was still 7 points lower than last year score.

There is decrease in the social networking site score this year. Myspace, Facebook, Wikipedia, Youtube , all these four major social media sites were hit back by the users comments and scores.

Following are the scores given by ACSI this year :-

Google – 80

Foxnews – 82

Bing and Wikipedia – 77

Yahoo – 76

MSNBC – 74

CNN – 73

Facebook – 64

Myspace – 63

When we see the users, there are more than 450 million users and 400 million active users on facebook social media site, but than also there is decrease in the score.

What are the reason that facebook got less ACSI socre :-

* privacy and security concerns
* the technology that controls the news feeds
* advertising
* the constant and unpredictable changes
* spam
* navigation troubles
* annoying applications with constant notifications
* functionality

Sometimes the users also want to leave facebook, but due the cyclic relation among the friend and family member, Its not possible to leave the facebook. Hope the facebook will satify the users and make the privacy setting more elegant and powerful.

If you are following more BUZZ users, than I am sure that your Gmail Inbox is full of BUZZ notifications, updates etc.It doesn’t mean to stop following some good peoples but, I am trying to make your GMAIL inbox clean of BUZZ updates emails.

The above picture show that inbox is full of buzz updates messages.

BUT you can control all that , As BUZZ emails are with label “buzz” by default. SO by sending the label:buzz query you can manage it.

How to control the BUZZ updates emails in the Gmail Inbox.

1) First create the Filter

2) Search the “label:buzz” in the “Has the Word” field.

3) By searching the “label:buzz”, you will filter all the Buzz emails . Now you have to SKIP the email from the Gmail Inbox.

By doing this you will be Skiping all the BUZZ email from your Gmail Inbox.

Cool huh !

Remove BUZZ completely From your BUZZ:

1) GO to the bottom of the Gmail page, and Turn Off the BUZZ

Now you can enjoy the BUZZ in a nice way, your gmail inbox is clean now, You have filtered the BUZZ email and manage them out of your gmail inbox.

Twitter Merges With BitTorrent

Its a great day for all the P2P users, as twitter and bit-torrent join their hands to make the P2P service more efficient.

BitTorrent has very huge amount of data and files across the internet.

“Murder” as the project has been labeled, is based on an open source. It would help Twitter as well as other developers for free.

Thousand of servers are required in the normal process of flow of updates that are sent to millions of users. Such big scale web-services are in need of the latest updates and that is for sure intensive time consumption.

So Twitter has made the first step in calling for help from BitTorrentto manage these huge files across their servers faster and more efficiently. In the procedure, “Murder’s” purpose will be to save time and resources. Its function will be to transform Twitter’s servers into a large BitTorrent swarm that will distribute file update using the BitTorrent technology. Thus it will not use the bandwidth of Twitter users. The setup is as simple aa the abc’s of torrent. Murder uses a ’seeder’ server where the new files will be distributed to thousands of ‘peer’ servers. Simple and serves the need! Since all servers coordinate in the deployment of the files, it will only fractions of the time it would otherwise take when files are distributed from a central server. That’s the use of the server to server Bit Torrent technology. Larry Gadea from Twitter has developed this ideology and the “Murder” project was then based on the BitTornado BitTorrent client, which was the first client to implement web-seeding. The code is also open to the public and licensed under the free software Apache License.
