Sometimes you might be thinking of sharing your stuff like photos, music files , videos etc with your another friend over WAN(internet). So what you do ? The basic thing you can think of just to email the stuff to your friends. But sending the files over email have a bounded size limit. Like google “gmail” have 30 MB max. So here I are the best 3 ways that you can choose to send large files over the internet to your friends safely.
1. Files Over Mile :-
Files over mile is a browser to browser file sharing. There is no SIGN UP, you can share unlimited size stuff with as many friends as you can with a unique URL. Only you have to share the Generated URL and a Password, If you had secured your file download.
2. DropBox :-
Dropbox allows you to sync your files online and across your computers automatically.
* 2GB of online storage for free, with up to 100GB available to paying customers.
* Sync files of any size or type.
* Sync Windows, Mac and Linux computers.
* Automatically syncs when new files or changes are detected.
* Work on files in your Dropbox even if you’re offline. Your changes sync once your computer has an Internet connection again.
* Dropbox transfers will correctly resume where they left off if the connection drops.
* Efficient sync – only the pieces of a file that changed (not the whole file) are synced. This saves you time.
* Doesn’t hog your Internet connection. You can manually set bandwidth limits.
3. File Mail :-
● No registration required
● Max file size is 2GB
● Easy to use (atleast we hope so)
● Upload window allows selecting multiple files
So, enjoy the free large file sharing, over the internet.

Recent version of Opera also provides a reliable way to share files through P2P using Opera Unite. It doesn’t have any file-size limit that the “Files Over Miles” imposes due to it being based on the Flash technology, which stores all the downloads in RAM (i.e. the file-size can’t be more than the RAM size of the downloading computer).
What is needed is to download the Opera from opera.com and create a free opera account. Then enable the Opera Unite functionality….that’s it. One can share any size and any number of files through it.
The Drop Box and File Mail looks good though if P2P is not what you want.
